Donovan got to play hockey at the MCI Center in front of tens of thousands. I was hoping that it would be a
life-changing experience, in part because of the huge financial sacrifice we made -- postponing our trip to
Victoria by one day, boosting the cost of the flight by seven hundred bucks. But all he wanted to do was go
home after his five minutes on the ice. Footnote: four tickets went unused because Garret was very naughty,
which meant he and his friend and me weren't going, and Elise had other plans. I got to stay home and sulk!
What a great way to start a vacation! Each picture makes me think "$70"...
